In this show the artist converted the gallery space into a private studio of the artist/designer.
The installation using paintings
and fashion objects debated the issue of private and public
realms in relation with the creative woman’s life
which negotiates between interdisplinary fields of aesthetic
production..
The installation of 150 abstract paintings and a variety
of fashion objects, like sculpted painted buttons and wearable
garments created of canvas, became part of the unified visual
experience as two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks
.
Scrolls of canvas painted like fabric, transformed into
wearable garments expressed the artist’s unlimited
creativity which knows no language and has no boundaries.
The element of fun in installation were tags of ‘S’
small ,’M’ medium ,’L’ large on
paintings hanging on hangers. To view these works one had
to physically move these artworks as if they were garments.
The show was well attended by art lovers and was reviewed positively
